The Gibraltar Building

Our firm is conveniently located within three blocks of the Courthouse and Land Title Offices. We may be found at #102 - 418 St. Paul Street, Kamloops, British Columbia. We are about two blocks from the downtown core of Kamloops. On-street parking is easy.

The firm was established in 2000, when David Goar and John Drayton joined forces under the name "Gibraltar Law Group".

Since then, David has largely retired from the practice of law. He occasionally will take on special legal tasks involving securities or mining law, and messages may be left for him at the office concerning such matters.

John continues to practice, with a particular emphasis on serving the forestry, transportation, and mining sectors.

Bruce Swanson joined the firm as associate counsel in 2004, and as a partner in 2006. His focus is on wills, powers of attorney, probate, real estate conveyancing, and family law.

Being a small firm, we pride ourselves on giving clients the personal attention that they deserve. We know our clients on a first name basis. When our clients call, they may speak to the lawyer or staff member with knowledge about their matters. Having practiced in these areas of law for a significant number of years, we are aware of the issues that may arise, and are keenly aware of the special legal needs that our clients may have.

JOHN M DRAYTON
